Bronze League.
Bronze League tournaments are named Bronze Tournaments and include general rules available on this link : rules.
Qualifiers format
- Bronze tournaments begin with Swiss rounds qualifier with all teams. Teams can only play against teams of their division.
- The draft letter for each match is determined as follows : the team that had the less amount of letter choice priority during the occuring tournament will have the said priority. If both teams have had the same amount, the priority will be given randomly.
- A victory grants 3 Tournament Points, a draw grants 1 Tournament Point, a defeat grants no Tournament Points.
- Additional Points are also given according to the result of each match, as defined in the general rules.
- The tie breaker priority goes as follow : Tournament Points > Division of origin > Percentage of Adverse Victory (PVA) > Additional Points > Head-to-head results. Tiebreakers will be held as needed.
Fast up
- During the Swiss round phase, it is possible to move up in division after very good results.
- Teams in divisions 2 to 4 have a score of Points of Victory (PV). A win gives 1 PV, a draw 0 PV and a loss -1 PV.
- When a team reaches 4 PV, it automatically moves up to the next division. Its PV are reset to 0, and its last victory does not earn it any Tournament Points or Additional Points.
- The results taken into account for the calculation of the PVA of a team are only those which took place in the league of the confrontation or in a lower league, but not those which could take place later in a higher league following a fast up.
- Ups are considered as victories in the calculation of the PVA of the teams having faced the team before its Up, and as defeats for the teams faced after.
- Fast ups stop after round 10, it is not possible to move up a division during the tournament afterwards.
Play-off format
- The 32 best teams in rounds of division 1 are qualified in playoffs, which are played in double elimination, with a Winner Bracket and a Loser Bracket.
- The confrontations are played in 2 winning matches (BO3). The highest-ranked team in qualifiers has the draft letter choice in games 1 and 3, the other team has it in game 2.
- Drafts are made as games go on and not all at the beginning. Drafts for games 2 and 3 must be thrown within 10 minutes of the end of the previous game, without possible delay.
- The top 16 starts in the Winner Bracket, with the top 1 vs the top 16, 2 vs 15, etc. If a team loses in the Winner Bracket, it moves into the Loser Bracket.
- Top 17 to 32 starts in the Loser Bracket, with top 17 vs top 32, 18 vs 31, etc. If teams lose in the Loser Bracket, they are eliminated. The Loser Bracket of the Bronze Tournaments ends after its second semifinal round.
